Upper Iowa Head Volleyball Coach Shari Robertson announced that Melanie Behnke, from Seymour, Wisconsin has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and volleyball career at Upper Iowa University.

Melanie Behnke, a 5'10 Outside Hitter, led Seymour this past season totaling 496 kills with a .336 hitting percentage, 90 aces and 325 digs. In addition, Behnke just recently surpassed the 1,000 career kills.

"We are very excited for Melanie to join our program. She is strong and athletic and will bring a competitive spirit to our team. Her enthusiasm, hustle, and ability to terminate the ball caught my attention right away. She has the determination that we look for in student athletes and I am thrilled that Melanie has selected Upper Iowa University", said Coach Robertson.
