Upper Iowa University Volleyball Coach Dave Jackson will not return for the 2008-09 season. The Assistant Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator, Shari Robertson, will assume the position of Interim Head Coach.

Gil Cloud, Director of Athletics, indicated that a reorganization of the athletics department will be announced next week and the appropriate searches will be initiated at that time.

Jackson has been at Upper Iowa for three years; one as an assistant coach and the last two as the Head Coach. Over the past two years, their first two in the Northern Sun Conference, the Peacocks have registered 11 wins and 51 losses during that time.

Cloud said, "We wish Dave well in his new endeavors and appreciate his efforts during his tenure at UIU."
