The Women’s Tennis team competed in the 1st Annual Hinds-Kellogg Classic hosted by Western Illinois University this past weekend.
In singles play… *Kasey Huisman went 1-2 to finish in 6th place in the first flight. *Kelsey Montgomery went 1-2 to finish in 6th place in the second flight. *Erin Kelley went 1-2 to finish in 4th place in the third flight. *Mallery Cox went 2-1 to finish in 3rd place in the fourth flight. *Katie Rodewald went 1-2 to finish in 7th place in the fifth flight. *Shleby Lilly went 1-2 to finish in 4th place in the sixth flight. In doubles play… *Huisman and Kelly went 0-3 to finish in 8th place in the first flight. *Cox and Rodewald went 0-3 to finish in 8th place in the second flight. *Molly Klocke and Montgomery went 2-1 to finish in 5th place in the third flight. The Peacocks will take to the courts for their final action of the fall against Wartburg College this afternoon, the 9th, at 3:30 p.m. |
