The Upper Iowa women's tennis team met Southwest Minnesota State in Owatonna, Minnesota on Saturday for a match up of the two teams tied for first place in the Northern Sun Conference. The Peacocks swept through the doubles matches taking a 3-0 lead into singles where UIU was able to split the singles matches with SMSU to take the victory 6-3. Upper Iowa now sits atop the NSIC standing at 3-0 with wins against Winona State, MSU Moorhead, and Southwest Minnesota State.
