They will be great representatives of our program and Upper Iowa University.” Bahl continued, “With this class we were really able to focus in on key areas of weakness that got the best of us at times last year. We return nearly all the pieces from this past fall’s youthful team, but needed to upgrade various areas to be able to compete in a Northern Sun Conference that seems to get stronger every year. This group not only adds much needed depth to our roster; it addresses weaknesses we have had defensively and gives us a much more dynamic attacking presence. We are excited about the technical ability, athleticism, and versatility these young ladies will add to the program.” The Peacocks only major loss from this past year’s 9-9-3 team is that of All-Region central midfielder Jenny Lee. The Peacocks still plan to add a couple more student-athletes this spring to complete this class.
