Week 9 Game Notes

This Week in Men's Soccer...

The Upper Iowa Men's Soccer team closes out the 2009 season with a pair of matches this week.

On Wednesday, the Peacocks defend Pattison Field for the final time of the season as they welcome the undefeated Saints of Ashford University to Pattison Field in Fayette for a 3 p.m. showdown. The Saints have clinched the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championship.

Then, on Friday, the Peacocks travel to Sioux City, Iowa to line up against the Chargers of Briar Cliff University. The Peacocks and Chargers are scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.

Finally, the Peacock men close out the 2009 season by visiting Bismarck, North Dakota to battle the Marauders of U-Mary at 11 a.m. The Marauders defeated UIU in their first meeting of the season, 1-0, in Fayette.
