The Peacock men's soccer team ventured south to Oskaloosa, Iowa to battle the Statesmen of William Penn. Upper Iowa tied the match just minutes later as freshmen Jasmin Arapovic drove home his second goal in the last two matches. The teams played evenly until the home team retook the lead in the 30th minute. The Statesmen kept the pressure on the visitors in the second half as they tallied 17 shots in the first 45 minutes. William Penn added goals in 62nd and 84th minute to pull away from UIU and earn the victory. The Peacocks (3-8) return to Pattison Field in Fayette for two home games this weekend.
