Box Score

The Peacock men's soccer team played host to the Eagles of Robert Morris College in Sunday's game on Pattison Field. Upper Iowa took a 1-0 lead into halftime and outplayed the Eagles in the second half to pull away 3-0. The Peacocks have one three of their last four games with the only loss coming to a veteran Truman State team (4-0) on Saturday afternoon. The team's record is now 3-6.

Craig Signorin got the Peacocks started in the 15th minute when he took a penalty kick and drove it past the Eagle goalie, who could only stand and watch as the ball sped by him. The penalty kick was awarded after a handball was called on the Robert Morris defense in the 18-yard box. Upper Iowa out shot Robert Morris 12-3 in the first half but only converted on one of the shots.

The Peacocks wasted little time in the second half as Signorin knocked number two into the back of the net. Jasmin Arapovic took a free kick and placed it into the box at the feet of the junior forward, who drilled it past the keeper. Josh Anderson put the final goal in for the home team. Anderson finished in the box on a cross from Jacob Rasbeck in the 63rd minute.

The team will host Dana College next Sunday, September 23, at 3:00.
