Ben Jones, a native of Waterloo, Iowa, was named Associate Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach in April of 2007.

Prior to his arrival at UIU, Jones served as Associate Head Coach at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where, in 2005, helped lead the Mustangs to their best season ever.

Jones also was an assistant coach at Waterloo West High School for three years and started the soccer program at Union High School in La Porte City, Iowa. In his last season at Union, he took a woman's program that previously had only won 4 games combined in their existence and won a school record 12 games and helped the team be included in the state rankings for the first time ever.

Jones was also an All Iowa Conference selection and team MVP during the 2000-2001 season while at Wartburg College.

Jones earned a Leisure, Youth, and Human Services Degree with an emphasis in Non-Profit Administration from the University of Northern Iowa in 2005.
