Peacocks Set Two Records at Regional Invite

The Upper Iowa Men’s Golf Team traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to compete in the Regional Invite hosted by the University of Minnesota-Crookston. The team finished in third place out of seven teams.
 
The team shot a 310 on day one and then fired a team score of 297 on day two. The second day total of 297 sets a new 18-hole record for the program. The tournament total of 607 also sets a new 36-hole record for the program.
 
Josh Wells led the Peacocks again with a two-day total of 147 (74-73), which was good for 5th place. Bryan Peck finished in 9th and carded a 150 (77-73); Craig Signorin finished in 18th while shooting a 156 (81-75); Matt Ewalt finished with a 158 (78-80); and Tyler Pederson registered a 159 (83-76).
 
Upper Iowa will tee it up again this Saturday and Sunday, October 7th and 8th, in Becker, Minnesota at the Northern Sun Conference Golf Championships.
