Peacocks Take Second at Concordia Invite

After finishing sixth at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament in the fall, Upper Iowa showed how far its come in just six months. Tuesday, the Peacocks tied for second at the Concordia Spring Invitational. The invite featured six of the seven teams that competed in the fall NSIC Meet.
 
Upper Iowa shot a 310-308-618 to tie for second with Minnesota-Crookston (303-315-618). Winona State won the event with a 304-305-609.
 
Josh Wells led the Peacock charge, firing a 75-77-152, good for third overall. He finished four strokes behind medalist Matt Horel from Winona State (74-74-148). Craig Signorin shot a 77-79-156 and Andy Thomas added a 81-77-158.
 
Bryan Peck rebounded from an opening-round 90 to shot a 75 on the second day to finish with a 165. Jacob Bodette started with a 77 but followed with a 93 for a 170. Drew Kuckler added an 80-97-177.
