The Northern Sun Conference has handed out their Football All-Conference Awards and six Peacocks have earned the honor. Dwayne Croker (JR / Immokalee, FL) and T.C. Hicks (JR / Immokalee, FL) were named to the First Team Offense as a Wide Receiver and Running Back, respectively. Ryan Hudgins (JR / Hanford, CA) was named to the Second Team Special Teams as a Punt Returner.

Four Peacocks were named to the Honorable Mention Team. They were Andrew Jones (SR / Lompoc, CA) as a Quarterback, Hudgins as a Wide Receiver, Jerad Jandrain (SO / De Pere, WI) as an Offensive Lineman, and Chris Spier (SR / Sumner, IA) as a Linebacker and Defensive End.

Head Coach Mike Knoll had the following thoughts on the honored Peacocks:

WR Dwayne Croker
“Dwayne was our most effective receiver and he does very well gaining yards after the catch. He is always a threat on kick returns and wide receiver sweeps and reverses.”

RB T.C. Hicks
“T.C. is a versatile offensive skill performer. He not only carries the ball from the backfield, but can catch the ball and also return kicks. He is a valuable player to this team because of how he executes in his role.”

PR/WR Ryan Hudgins
“Ryan is a very durable young man and a tough man to corral for opposing defenses. He is great at making defenders miss. He is consistent as a wide receiver and punt returner. I love his punt return capabilities.”

OL Jerad Jandrain
“Jerad is our most consistent offensive line performer. He leads not only by example, but also by his effort everyday."

QB Andrew Jones
“Andrew will be missed greatly. He was not only a passing quarterback, but a running quarterback in the option game. He was also a very good punter for us.”

DE/LB Chris Spier
“Chris is our most consistent defensive player. He was valuable to us as he played both defensive end and linebacker. He was a leader by example on a daily basis and he will be missed.”

The Upper Iowa University finished the season with a 3-8 record overall and a 3-5 mark, tied for 6th, in their inaugural season in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
