T.C. Hicks led the Peacocks to a Homecoming victory against NSIC foe SW Minnesota State 39-27. Hicks became the new leader in career rushing yards at Upper Iowa University with a 32 carry, 198 yard effort against the Mustangs. The senior running back took 2 of his 32 carries into the endzone for scores.

Hicks has 1,065 rushing yards this season on 144 attempts (7.4 yds/carry). The Immokalee, Fla. native has crossed the goal line for seven touchdowns this season. His career rushing yards are now 2,893 on 543 carries for a career rushing average of 5.3 yards per attempt.

Upper Iowa led 27-0 heading into the fourth quarter and had to hold on as Josh Shudlick engineered a frantic rally that saw the visitors put 27 points on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter.

Upper Iowa's record moves to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the NSIC, while Southwest Minnesota fell to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the NSIC.
