Upper Iowa Head Baseball Coach Mark Danker announced that twelve student-athletes have accepted their admission and financial aid agreements and committed to Upper Iowa University and the Peacock baseball team. The group of twelve includes nine young men that just graduated high school and three young men that will be transferring to UIU. The state-by-state breakdown shows five from Iowa, four from Illinois, two from Minnesota and one from Wisconsin.
Upper Iowa is a member of NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. UIU is coming off the first season in the NSIC, finishing in 5th place while winning the second most games in the league (18) and compiling a 29-21 record overall.
