After fighting back from being 17 points down at one point, the Peacocks dropped the contest, 81-75. Hot shooting was prevalent in the first eight minutes of the contest as both teams combined to go 7- for-9 from beyond the arc, but a quick 11-0 run by the Bruins put UIU in a 24-12 hole early in the first half. While both defenses began to settle in over the next 11 minutes, the Peacocks couldn't completely cool the hot shooting of Bellevue. The Peacocks scored a quick pair of fast-break layups from Matt Lesan and Jake Hughes to bring UIU back within twelve at 38-26 with just over three minutes to play before halftime. (MORE)
